Whether you’re purchasing a parrot domestically or internationally, we ensure that your bird travels securely with all necessary documentation. From coordinating CITES permits for international shipments to offering home delivery for domestic customers, we strive to meet the highest standards in bird transportation. Shipping Methods
We offer secure shipping tailored to both domestic and international needs. For all parrots, except cockatiels and parakeets, a valid CITES certification is required for international travel. Our well-established connections ensure that we handle CITES permits smoothly, guaranteeing compliance with global regulations. This process allows us to deliver your parrot safely to its destination without any complications.
Domestic Shipping
For domestic shipments within the United States, we utilize reliable shipping carriers that specialize in transporting birds. These carriers are well-equipped to handle the unique requirements of parrots, ensuring a comfortable and secure journey. All domestic shipments are closely monitored, and for an additional fee, we offer home delivery services for domestic customers who prefer it.
International Shipping
International shipping requires a valid CITES certification, and we manage this process with precision. Each country has its own office for processing CITES certifications, and in the U.S., this is handled through the Division of Management Authority in the Fish and Wildlife Department. We ensure that all necessary documentation is accurately completed before your parrot’s departure, allowing for a seamless international shipping experience.
Shipping Process
After placing your order, we review the details and coordinate the most suitable shipping method. For international shipments, we provide comprehensive flight details, including the airline, flight numbers, airway bill/tracking numbers, and estimated arrival times. On the day of shipment, we confirm all details once again to ensure everything is set for a smooth delivery.
Customer Responsibility
Customers are advised to arrive at the airport no later than the scheduled flight arrival time to avoid any delays. Immediate inspection upon delivery is essential to ensure the bird’s health and safety. We request a follow-up contact (call, text, or email) to confirm that the bird has safely arrived.
Refunds & Returns
All sales are final once the bird is shipped. Returns are only accepted if the bird experiences health issues during transit. In the unfortunate event that a bird arrives deceased, we offer a replacement or refund of the full cost of the bird (excluding shipping). A 24-hour window is provided for notifying us of any issues post-delivery. Additionally, a minimum of 50% payment is required before shipping.
